Printed Circuit pays respects here.

It's to much to keep in. Long time Winnipeg abstract hip hop artist and music enthusiast Bradley 'Icisnizz or Roswell' Nyznyk passed away silently on Thursday December 8th 2011 only a mere month from his birthday.

Those that have followed this show know he was a guest I had the honor to hang out with in the quiet studio here at CKUW in August. It feels like yesterday when we hit it to the mic to promote his upcoming album and feed the airwaves with his bardic rhymes.

Boundaries were nothing to Icis. Creatively pushing the limits and pushing it forward musicly even if he passed out face first recording a beat to releasing it all on first take to keep it going. Truth be told, this guy had things to say and a medium to get it all out. Usually alone with locked doors and phone off the hook and blinds down low you'd usually find Brad there in front of his computer if not down by the river with Kaaz and an acoustic sipping the cheapest beer jamming out pricing together what was to be all of ours shared works of 'The Elephants Upstairs' which combined Kaaz's smooth guitar takes and natural mic'd medium turning what was to be another chapter opening through the exploration of the more positive focus blending upbeat lyrics and melodies.

If your familiar with Icisnizz or Roswell on the least you know the presence of bi-polar struggle are apparent in the meloncoly sinister compositions with lyrics almost calling to the aid of the troubled torn soul letting you know it was okay to relate because he wasn't scared to embrace it. For this is where the importance of his aim lies. In our world there is a huge population, even if we deny it, that finds solace in his works almost as if we really arn't alone and through his music we can find healing even in the gloom. '' I bleed upon this paper hoping someone feels the same'' is a quick except from his release 'Dead Bugs'. You arn't alone Brad.

His passive personality made it impossible to get along with him, a character of many cultures he'd get along with you in no time and his constant radiant smile let you know what humanity could achieve without any bias.

So I'll end it here. I'll fucking miss you man. I hope we meet again soon as it was a pleasure learning from you and having the opertunity to know you as close as we were. I know there was very few you let that deep but I was a good choice. I would have went to the ends of the world for you broski. I'll always live through your music I just wished I had more to show for the nights we spent together over a brew and a beat.

''Whats that fist for a metaphor for closure without grip'' -Icisnizz : Dead Bugs.

One love.
